Hitachi Extends Aid to Cyclone Victims in Myanmar<\/strong><\/h6>\n

Tokyo, May 14, 2008 — Hitachi, Ltd. (NYSE:HIT \/ TSE:6501) today announced Hitachi Group companies have decided to donate a total of 10,000,000 Japanese Yen to support victims of the cyclone in Myanmar and to assist in the restoration effort in the affected areas.
